NEW Program for Juniors and Internship Aspirants!
Join DreamCatcher and get direct guidance from the intern! [Interview Below]
What Anurag has to offer you:-
A. Direct one-to-one chat and Q & A with me for 20 minutes [Cost: 1 “Felt”]
B. I can assist you in drafting your resume, SOPs and LORs etc. These are certain documents that are invariably required when applying for internships overseas, sometimes mandatory for structured programs viz. MITACS, DAAD, SN Bose, Charpak and the like. [Cost: 2 “Felts”]
C. Cover Letter drafting exercises are of paramount importance primarily because when you apply abroad, the first impression you create is through the email content and you have very limited slot of time/words within which you need to capture the imagination of the prof concerned. [Cost 2 “Felts”]
D. Finding the “right” professor. Let’s remember that all this (cover letter, SOP, LOR, resume) is worthless if one is incompetent in searching up the correct persons concerned. ‘Whom to apply to and how to dig them out’ is one area where majority of the aspirants fail miserably. I can provide my prior experience in this domain [Cost 1 “Felt”]
Note: 1 “Felt” = Rs 50, (so 2 Felts = Rs 100, Three Felts = Rs 150 and so on. . .)
Note: In case you (reader) is not satisfied by the service, the entire money would be refunded within 48 hours. No questions asked. – Team InternFeel

Continuing the insightful interview of Anurag from Mumbai, here’s the last in the series of six internships of Anurag at UPMC-Paris.
Anurag completed an Integrated 5 Year Dual Degree Program (Bachelors & Masters’ Dual Degree) from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working with Eaton Corporation where he started working from August this year.
After getting varied internship experiences domestically, he ventured first to USA and then to France. Summing up his internship experiences he says, “All in all, the fantastic journey of internships, trainings and exchange programs came to an end with the completion of the spring semester and with a heavy heart, I had to bid goodbye to the City of Lights!”
Read on to get the amazing in-depth details provided by Anurag about his stay in Paris and what he has to say about InternFeel.
InternFeel (IF): Tell us something about your internship including stipend, duration and place?
Anurag Roy (AR): The last and final abroad trip of my undergrad life was in the form of a complete semester exchange program, at one of France’s most prestigious universities: UPMC-Paris. This was a sponsored program which required me to investigate fracture of 3-D specimens and suggest what sort of micro-structural modifications can be introduced so as to augment the overall fracture properties of the bulk material. That was a heck of a roller-coaster ride encompassing a fabulous internship saga spanning the five glorious years at IIT.
IF: Could you please highlight the work/research you carried out during your internship period
AR: The last and final internship took the form of a sponsored semester exchange program at UPMC-Paris, in which I was fortunate enough to be the only person selected from our batch. Semester started on 4th Jan and I arrived there a few days before, so as to celebrate New Years’ in the most beautiful city on this planet.
All the festivities aside, the part I was to deliver on, dealt with determining methodologies to alter the microstructure of a material (which can be very easily performed thanks to 3-D printing aka additive manufacturing) and testing them for enhancement in their fracture behaviour through peeling and adhesion studies. This time I got really lucky to be associated with a group led by a former Caltech professor and it is not every day that you come across such big shots.
IF: Can you give us interesting details about your experience – good and bad?
The terminal internship at Paris was a god-send. Apart from the awe-inspiring research that we were engaged in, I found some time to check out the Eiffel (obviously!), Louvre Museum, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph, Musee d’Orsay, Palace of Versailles, Montmarte, Catacombs, Opera, the Luxembourg Gardens, the French Pantheon, and more interestingly, the Moulin Rouge cabaret (wink wink). Also managed to visit Netherlands for Easter and cover four of its cities – Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and TU-Delft, all this while crashing at a college friend’s place. The best thing that happened to me during this internship was my fortuitous meeting with a pretty Russian co-intern from St. Petersburg who worked in the adjoining room and we guys often referred to her as Miss Vodka (though I am not aware of her drinking habits- damn the stereotypes, haha). I still reminisce the golden days in Paris whereby we both relished on scrumptious meals from our respective country’s culinary specialities, checked out Parisian must-visits together, learnt about each other’s cultures and customs, good times indeed!!!!!
We’d like Anurag for taking out his time and providing the readers with such insightful details about every aspect of the internships.
Finally here’s what Anurag has to say about us, InternFeel.
“Highly commendable and definitely a very noble endeavour on your part. Kindly keep up the good work guys. I wish I had known such forums where one could go through such detailed accounts and personal experiences particularly at the time when I was struggling with the cumbersome application process back in the spring of 2014. Thanks for setting such a remarkable precedent and kudos to InternFeel.com”
